Getting There
Orangevale Park is located in Orangevale (believe it or not). It is just down the road from Casa Roble High School. Click on the map to the left to get directions.

Parking
Parking is free. The best places to park are 1.) in the gravel lot off Oak Avenue at the northeast corner of the park, and 2.) in the parking lot off of Filbert, also at the northeast corner of the park. Please be considerate of the neighbors and do NOT park along the road.

What can families do?
Kids will love the big play structure and swing set right near the start / finish. There are a variety of short hiking paths for smaller children. There is also a small disc golf course.

What is there to eat?
The North Border Taco food truck will be at this race

Did someone say beer garden?!?
New this season is the Yolo Brew beer garden! The beer garden will be located right in the middle of the course near the barriers, so racers will be going by on two sides.

We will have two types of beer, as well as beer floats.

Course description: This year we're extending the course a bit, and hitting it in the opposite direction! Racers will get things sorted out on the grass after the start before heading into the woods. Then a long barrier section followed by a grass "false flat" will test your legs and lungs. A few bits of pavement are in between the notorious sand pit and technical grass corners at the far end of the course. And we're adding in some stairs before heading back to get heckled by the beer garden patrons before the finish line.

The series championship will use your six best races out of the eight race series.

You will be issued a reusable RFID chip for the entire season. A $20 deposit will be added to your first race, and is fully refundable when you return the chip at the end of the season.

Online pre-registration will close on Thursday, September 24 at 6 pm.

When you pre-register online, you do not sign-up for a specific race. Instead, purchase race credtis that allow you to come to any Sacramento Cyclocross race this season... no transfer fees! The more credits you buy at one time, the more you save.

If you lose your bib number and/or RFID chip, it is a $5 replacement fee (plus an additional $20 chip deposit). Race credits expire at the end of the season, and are not transferable to another racer. No refunds.
